4:2:2 is already here :D

I being looking for more than 2 months to get a quote for a minime or to order directly in the web/fleablay or else without luck. Real poor sales process. There isnt a single page that can show me the Minime with actual price, shipping charges etc etc . I even tried the link you gave me and they didn't point me anywhere. Why its so hard to look for the prices and/or order your products??? This is a contest link you provided, Regards,

Our authorised dealers are fully responsible in the pricing and sale of our products so you need to contact them directly in order to inquire on how to order our products. Please contact GotCBand.com at http://www.azbox.us/cfm/azboxus/dealer_info.cfm?ID=10 or eScapes Network at http://www.azbox.us/cfm/azboxus/dealer_info.cfm?ID=45 in order to inquire on how to order our products in the United States. You may also contact our Canadian authorised dealers listed at http://dealers.azbox.ca if you want to import one from Canada.

Sent e-mail to both GotCband and eScape Network. Still a nightmare to look for prices, quotes etc, Not a single word from them. A lot of room for improvement on that area:confused:

Some of that feedback is as a buyer.
However, anything over 100 and all that being positive is pretty good.

Cheers, K

Carlospr43,

That is pwrsurge... :D

No, that ebay store is operated by Dr. Sat, one of our authorised dealers at AzBox Canada.

As previously stated, we at AzBox Canada and AzBox US strictly sell to authorised dealers at wholesale prices. Unlike certain distributors in this industry who shall remain nameless, we don't compete against our dealers by selling our products directly to consumers. We wish to provide our dealers the flexibility to set their own retail prices for our products which would be very difficult to do if we were selling directly from our websites at http://www.azbox.ca or http://www.azbox.us as consumers would expect dealers to sell at the exact same prices.

We are aware that there is currently an issue with our current AzBox US authorised dealers and our dealer manager is currently in touch with them in order to help them out. One of the things we have recently introduced to assist them is a drop shipping program which can serve any customer located in Canada or the United States so that even smaller retailers are able to compete efficiently without having to invest money upfront to carry inventory. Furthermore, I have been informed that we have at least 1 additional retailer currently applying to become an authorised AzBox US dealer so more options will soon be available.

Are you implying that you and drsat are not one and the same ?

Might want to google yourself to confirm that if your confused.

Carlos, since you have a PC already, have you considered a Sat Tuner for it?

I tried an USB QBox II several months ago and it was a pain to deal with. I will consider a good one with blindscanning feature. On the other hand I keep getting explanation over explanation from AZ but nothing which will point me to finally look, review or order their produts. This is boring , almost to beg to purchase a product, i'm done. Dont know which one is worse to deal with between Ricks or them

Did you try the App "CrazyScan" to scan for feeds.
DVBViewer with Transedit works well.
I believe SmartDVB has build-in blind scanning.

The AZBox Elite / Premium / ME / Mini have been out for such a long time, you won't find much new info on them - been there, done that.

If anything, you could get something like the X2 revceiver for most viewing and Blind scanning, and use your QBox for feeds the X2 can not play.

If I am telling folks wrong information, please clarify. I don't want to be giving out wrong information.

Here is a cut and paste of your post introducing pwrsurge at FridgeFTA. Isn't this you introducing yourself? What am I missing?

Hello, I am a new FridgeFTA Member and want to say hello to all members of this fine site promoting true FTA.

I work at Dr. Sat, one of the few companies in the Toronto and Hamilton areas which installs legitimate C and/or KU band satellite systems. More and more people are getting these types of systems but I'm always looking for ways to make it easier for everyone to discover the world of true FTA!

You need to have a login id to view this, but I'm pretty sure this is his Linkedin profile: http://tinyurl.com/oxhzyvp

The very top line in "Experience" is:

Interesting... A screen shot is worth a thousand words.

Beats me, if he's just an employee of 'Dr. Sat', (albeit "the president") why doesn't he just clear the air? Google really is your friend, because he's been asked to set that straight many times, and he hasn't answered it yet. That fact alone speaks loudly. I'd be proud to admit I owned a business such as this. Who wouldn't unless there's something to hide?

Speaking about yourself in the third person just isn't something a normal person does so often.

It's not confusing......
"AzBox Canada" & "AzBox US" import and "sell" to distributors in their respective countries - ie "Dr Sat" for Canada.
And if "everything on the internet is true" - he is an employee / worker / owner / president of all three. Makes perfect Tax sense.

Well if we're at it...

http://webcache.googleusercontent.c....com/whois/drsat.ca+&cd=2&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=ca

he owns the domain name azbox.ca as well drsat.ca

Kinda odd he would own the domain name of one of his customers isnt it? One thing Ive learned over the years in FTA is we're a pretty intelligent group, some of the smartest people I know are involved in FTA. Maybe he thinks none of us know how to use google.

As primestar31 stated this has all been brought up before, if pwrsurge is interested in building trust in the community then the first step is openness and clarity.
