I just got a FirstStrike Meter today. I am wondering what the best signal meter settings there are to have or where I could find those settings to distinguish between the different Dish Network and Directv satellites along with FTA satellites. I want to try to avoid getting a lock at two different orbital locations with the same settings.

I currently use the SuperSat Buddy and really like it. No need to cover LNBs or switch ports (on multi-sat LNB). Hook up to one port and get signal strength for all sats. Very easy to use. It is the meter that Dish provides for us, so I didn't have to buy it.

So if I cover up the lnb's I do not want to try to peak the signal in for on a multi-lnb with the Firststrike meter, it will give me the signal strength on each one I choose to leave uncovered no matter which one it is?

I want HD only...period.

Replace Dish 500 single with dual
