So glad it is back! We love the classic cartoons! Plus it is one of the few 24/7 cartoon channels for kids on Dish. So, the kids will be happy! :) Much rather them watch the classic cartoons than the new ones anyway! :)

Because TWC(Turner Broadcasting System) knows how to get the most profit out of that channel and other channels, via subscriptions. It definitely is a niche channel, and a popular niche channel that pulls at the nostalgia strings of most customers that will watch it. We all have our channels, and that one is hugely popular in the 25-48 range.

The expansion of unique cable channels in the 90s has lead to the "sameness" of the teens. We have nothing but network reruns, infomercials , reality schlock and very little to any original programming. That is what cable and even satellite tv has become. Makes cord cutting more and more attractive to more and more people.
