I thought the guide on the mini goes for two weeks or a week and half?
How long have you waited for the guide to populate? It can take anywhere from a couple of minutes to several hours.

Could be a satellite signal problem.

Go check you signal levels on satellite 101.

Usually resetting the genie fixes it

Likely the problem since the guide info comes from 101.

Did you reset the mini or the genie? The mini gets its info from the Genie. It’s a dumb device

It goes until 3/10. Would having the PI still hooked up to the C61k be causing it? I know the HR-54 has the PI included but I read that you could have the extra PI as a backup incase the HR-54 fails.
You can have the PI connected even though the HR54 has one internally. It must be connected to the HR54 though, not the C61k.

I remember when the DTV guy installed it he said before I got the C61k they like to install the PI next to where the multi-switch was. That's in the basement. However, that was when I had the multi-switch and not the LNB that has the multi-switch built in.

Personally, I think your fine with the PI connected to either of them, as long as its on the Power bypass thru the splitter.

I believe the guide should go about 14 days on both.
I haven't checked the guide distance in quite awhile, but I believe it was running out about 13 days, sometime 14.

I said only to the HR54 since there is only one power passing port on the splitter so if it was connected to the client but the Genie was powering the lnb the PI on the client would do no good.

I didn't know their are two types if HR-54 installs. You can have the HR-54 with an external PI or just use the HR-54's PI. We have the HR-54 with the external PI install.

No matter -How you power the LNB (with only the Hr54 or a PI-29) it Should be connected to PORT one of the first Splitter that powers the LNB downlead.
