Can a TIVO be interfaced with the 921?

Remember, HD is somewhere around 8GB per hour.

When it was announced it was the biggest HDD out there.

And it's still clsoe to the biggest available - unless somebody's putting multiple 300GB drives into something - and that'd be BIG $$$.

But to answer your question, sure if you want to set it up - you got an HD-Tivo or some other HD-capable device with huge HDDs? The operative part of the question is "HD-capable", of course. ;)

If you happen to own an HD-Tivo from DirecTV you can have (2) 300Gig drives! Thant is what I call an HD-PVR....

Regular Tivo can be used to record from SD output of 921. But you have to make sure your 921 is in SD mode, not HD settings. Not like 811, 921 can only have one type of output at one time.

Does swapping the 811 out make A difference?
