can i get ota with my vip222k?

i have a sony nsx-40gt1 that i have been using for ota and the vip222k for dish. however, setting up the sony requires me to use the ota step and it changes the boot up process to drop into ota to start with. i can set it up to boot up with the dish but then i can't get ota. if i can get ota through the dish it might help me. i do have a rotor on the antenna and we are about 80 miles from lincoln, omaha and sioux city. charlie

If you have this in your 222k you should be good to go.

just checked with dish. they are sending me the module and billing me 1 time charge of 50. no problem. now we can get local channels from omaha and the ota module has lincoln and the pbs channels that the dish doesn't carry. create is one of my wifes favorite channels so it's kinda a hassle to switch back and forth... thanks for the help. charlie

Make sure it is a 722K the 722 won't accept the module.
