Can two dishes interfere?

I installed a slimline about in the same path as my old 3lnb and all of a sudden my locals are going from 48 - 93 signal strength. I have not taken down the 3lnb because I haven't finished running the cables to the Slimline. I'm only getting 66 signal strength with the slimline on the 119 where my locals are spot beamed.

Depends on how close your ka/ku is to the tripsat,lol.......it would have to be damn near right on top of it........stream is coming in at 44 degrees, give or take.......

No I don't see how unless, like EricS said it is right on top of it or in front of it. A thought I have is since they are pretty close maybe you knocked the other dish some mounting the new one, or moved the whatever they are mounted on enough to mess up the old dish a bit.
