CNET's current highest rated HDTV is 720p

I've read a few articles where they compare two models from the same manufacturer of a 720P and 1080P TV's. In nearly every case, the same some of the same things that this guy said in his article. They do point out that usually, the 1080P TV looks better than the 720P with Blu-ray or HD-DVD.

The other thing they mention, which wasn't mentioned in this article, that SD generally looks better on the 720P. Its just too much interpolation going on upconverting the SD signal on the 1080p display.

That being said, my next TV will be 1080P
