This is cozis first week schedule looks like mostly PD (Public Domain) shows until the 31st. The reason that some shows may have different musuc is that they are PD meaning no one own the rights so anyone can broadcast them or sell them on DVD. The music however is often still under coptright since it was used in later episodes that were under copyright and thus it has to be replaced.Think this is eastern time so it is wrong as Just noticed it the other day on OTA 5.2 out of Chicago.
Since it's affiliated with NBC, you'd think they could acquire the rights to something worth watching.
Is that listing supposed to be competition for Me TV, Me Too, Antenna TV and RTV?
So far it seems to be as bad as River Broadcasting.
Maybe they'll be the one to get the one show I really want to see again...the one with the dog suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder flashbacks!

If you read the whole thread, the current schedule is what they call a "soft launch" which they decided to fill with Christmas/Holiday programming from years gone by. Their "official" schedule begins January 1..I very much want this, but my dish is frozen in place and I have'nt been able to get it to move..*sigh*
And if you read the post above mine, you'll see that IS the schedule effective as of January 1st.
Six Million Dollar Man and Bionic Woman are the only two shows that other stations haven't seemed to pick up yet. An NBC affiliate needs to do much better than that if they want to compete with all the other retro stations.

Looks like they're going to have some decent movies coming up. I mean, if you have HBO etc after a couple of months most of them are re-runs...So late at night COZI is going to have some mixed age movies. A lot of older movies are pretty good. Kids just don't like them because of no special effects or blood!
If my wife sees Roy and Dale are on ... I will have to get a new dish lined up! Of course, I would have to watch them also. They were one of the finest couples you could ever hope to meet. And the TV shows were clean and enjoyable. Need to post some pictures of them!

It appears that NBC is raiding the Universal library for much of the Cozi schedule (The Virginian, McMillan and Wife, Banacek, and Magnum P.I. are all on the "partial list" of holdings for Universal on Wikipedia), which makes sense since they are both owned by Comcast. Obviously, the shows they presently have licensed to MeTV and Antenna TV can't also be on Cozi, and that's a lot of the more-popular shows like Emergency, Rockford Files, Kojak, Leave It To Beaver, Adam-12 and Dragnet.
At least they aren't scraping the bottom of the barrel like RTV is these days.
