D* Programming Change Question

Hi.

I got my system installed in late march. I got the 3 month TC premier deal. I want to downgrade my service before mid june. If I call D* and tell them what I want, will they charge a $5 "assistence" fee? .Has anyone downgraded their service using the D* website?

No, only E* charges to downgrade. You can change anytime you wish. You can even downgrade from their web siteso you don't have to sit on hold.

I was just refering to the charge that D* has for "assisting" with things like ordering PPV over the phone

Just do your changes online. Extremely easy to do. Did it each weekend when Deadwood was on this past spring with HBO. You can do 1 change per day on the site.

So, can you upgrade to a premium channel (HBO) for say 1 weekend and then take it off again after? how much would that cost you?

I would say about 2 bucks or less..... I have done that for a week and it cost me about 3 bucks.....

about 40 cents a day. I do that for HBO & the HD-pack if there's a movie or game on ESPN-HD I want to watch.
