Digiwave Diamond and LNB settings

Hi,

I have a Digiwave Diamond and the following LNB (Please see below):

I was checking the Transponders of the Intelsat 10-02 (1.0West)
and noticed the following informations:

The question that I have How do you configure the Satellite Receiver so you can cover from frequency from 10988 up to 12722 with two LNB and a Diseqc 4x1 switch?
thanks

Regis

Hi,

I have a Digiwave diamond Receiver I have tried this morning to download my channel scan from my Digiwave into my PC.

If I try to edit it with NDFedit I have no problem.

If I try with Channel Master it respond that it cannot open the file ("failed to open document").

any suggestion are welcome so I can edit my channels with Channel Master will be nice.

thanks

Regis

Hi,

Guys Sorry I have merge the threads by error.

For the first question about channel master yes, I want to edit my channel list with Channel master but I cannot open the file.

thanks

Regis

I edit my channels with the remote...

I googled "NDFedit" and got a lot of answers about editing channels lists, autoroll, a 'setup package', tester's manual etc for the CoolSat. Obviously for hack purposes.

While your intents may be good, the toolset seems to have been created for the hack community. You're probably going to have to poke around the software to make it do what you want to. It would be nice to rename channels etc via my PC vs the dang remote :).

Menu --> System Setting --> Database Reset --> 'Delete Scramble Channels' is your friend.

ok thanks for answering the first question.

Mainly I taugth that cleaning / moving/ renaming process way too long to do with the remote that why I taugth to use an editor.

Does someone have an answer for my second question about the LNB?

thanks

Regis

Let's see if this helps...

Out at my Dish I have a 4x1 DiSEqC switch.

Port 1 - Ku LNB
Port 4 - DSS LNB

I chose 1 & 4 just because it was easier to route all the wires coming from the same side of the switch. I have a universal LNB for Ku. It look like your L.O. is the same as mine.

The screen shots show how you set it up on the reciever (dish settings menu):
G10R is the Ku and Echo 7 is the DSS (looked like you aren't in North America so I clarified)

Hi,

Does it work for the same satellite?

thanks

Regis
You have to define it as another satelite if you want it seamless. I did this for G11 (Ku @91w) and Nimiq1/3(DSS @91w). I re-defined G11C as G11Ku and Took the G11 out of the name at Nimiq.

same as the digiwave 6800/7000. You have to set up each "antenna" with your settings and save. For each of the satellites I have setup (with an sg2100 motor) I had to independently input 12 satellites with the settings . I have a universal lnb (10600), a linear would be (10750) and a circular (11250).

Should be much the same for you, but a little diff because you are using a diseq switch (of course thats an item you can chose on each antenna setting)

Happy trying and testing

Wow!

That's a clever way to go!

Many Thanks

I Will try it this week!

:)
