Does anyone know if the Directv International Dish (Model DTV36EDS) would take the slimline lnb or the new 99,101,103 lnb?

I'm wondering if the sleeve that lnb fits into would be the same size (since its a directv dish ) and also how focal point would match up.

I'm still trying to use something larger than the slimline dish but smaller than the 1.2 meter AK/HI dish for greater signal gain.

Thanks guys

Completely different.
And why do you want increased gain, if it is to avoid rain fade then it's a waste of time, the increased dish size will have virtually no effect on rain fade because the extra few db gain you get is nowhere near enough to matter.

Thanks guys, that's what I keep hearing (1.2 meter) but trying to avoid it.

Otherwise on the slimline still getting mid 80's on 101 but only 20's and 30's on about half of the ka transponders - 0's on the other half. Even the older AT9 gets a little better signal if someone has one of those laying around. I'd send them the slimline dish in that case.

I also notice that the shops on line that stock the 1.2 won't ship to the great white north.
