DirecTv2me set up issues

i just bought a samsung blu ray dvd player with wifi for an internet connection... one of the apps is directv2me, it finds my directv dvr, but it wont access it and always gives me a commuication failed error...
what am i doing wrong?

Welcome to SatelliteGuys! I'm sorry I dont have a Samsung Blu-ray player nor have I heard of that app. You've come to the right place to get answers to your DirecTV questions. If anyone has the answer to your question, it will be someone from these forums. I am interested to hear if you can get this app working and what it does.

You might have to be using an hr34 with built in RVU technology for that to work.

Never heard of directv2me (nor has google). Are you sure you typed it right, there is Directv2pc but that isn't on bluray players.
