I agree with you Iceberg. Everyone cries out about not wanting to deal with sports channels, but I really find no need to get a bunch of channels for different reasons. Some because a content reasons, others because of langauge reasons, and others because i just can't stand their overly political view point (by the way that door swings left and right for me). Now I pay for the top 250, but that's because my family has different viewing wants.

we've been down this road numerous times

Fine...then take all the kids channels and manhater channels and put them in their own pack for people who want it.
But then we're back to the "alacarte" horse which sadly even the buzzards havent touched in a few weeks ;)

Amen! While there is the point that sports is expensive and adds cost, there are MANY more channels I have not spent more than 10 minutes on since I started with Dish that I am paying for (Iceberg hit on a main one with manhater channels).

Iceberg, you live in Duluth? Big series this weekend with CC. We need a sweep bad since we are now #5 in pairwise.

I beg to disagree. There is just so much new sports. They show many events the day they happen. They just use repeats to fill in. Today I watched mens downhill skiing from earlier today. During the summer, they show a lot of cycling and track and field. I'm glad we have it.
