Since I am usually a pain in the butt, I guess I should give good credit too.

I have been trying to have HD installed/added to my system for 2 months now. After 10 no shows by my local installer, I have finally given up. I wrote ceo@echostar.com about the situation and they have agreed to refund me everything I have spent including a refund of the upgrade cost for the 625 I ended up with.

So... Thank you Echostar for restoring my faith!!!
 
I just checked and it is already reflected on my bill!!

Congratulations! At least it looks like they did something right. I went through hell to get my HD upgrade--no shows/no calls and a screwed up initial install. I did eventually get it done and the equipment has been performing faultlessly. God knows if my billing will ever get straightened out and what I'll have to go through to get my rebates:rolleyes:. Great products but horrendous customer service. Such a shame.
