SatelliteGuys was proud to be in attendance of DISH Networks Team Summit and we are proud to give you the exclusive FIRST LOOK at an upcoming concept which we may see released at the 2012 Team Summit.

Below I am proud to show you a video of what this concept can do! Hopefully we see this at CES.

Please let me (and DISH) know what you think!

I hope this comes true. I've needed it for years.

This is a big deal! Why is it not available now? Please don't make us wait until CES!

Will it work with my 622? Probably not, so it would seal the deal for me to go Hopper!

Too cool :D

Why does every sentence? Sound like he's asking a question? Even when it's not a question? It sounds like a question? It's kind of weird when people do that? They do it a lot in California? He may be from California?

He was trying to remember everything. :)

Video was short on my iPad 3 with no mic. :)

I wonder how many times he gave that presentation? He showed and said the same things when I listened in.

I think it's fantastic.

And I think the first kid that gets one and shows it off, will have every other kid pestering their parents to get Dish H/J so they can chat while watching, even across country.

And in the vein of there's nothing that can't be improved, I'll make one suggestion: In those communication apps, it would be nice to have the option of shrinking the video on the screen so maybe the top and left can be for the app and dialog box, and the video not be so overwritten. Just seems to block too much to me.

But this says pot 'o gold all over it.

I like it. Tagging was cool. They should have put a mic on the Hoppers and joeys. Then they could do voice commands. Instead of typing in you search for Comedy central. Just say "Dish Channel comedy central"

some it is cool. Telling people what are you are watching is kinda dumb but oh well to each and their own. If you could browse and reply satellite guys with a tapatalk like experience on the TV with a see through interface like they had on the chat part that would be cool!

Or crock o' sh**. You know it can go either way with Dish.

Well, there's a LOT of money on the table with this one. I think D* got a bit of a heads up and is worried. Dish can have a nice sprint before there's a catch up. But it's gotta get out in the field, fast, and in pretty good functional order.

I grant, the "social networking" part has little appeal to me, although I might try it with SatGuys, but I recognize that the young will be attracted like flies to a light bulb. They seem to prefer texting each other to actually voice calling on a cell.
