I like Dish. Been with them since 1999. I did just that. I now get HBO via the Fire Stick live and on the Roku on Demand. Works great too.I have my account credits standing by and ready to fire up HBO Now in another 5-8 weeks or so if AT&T and Dish can't come to an agreement.
Yep, same here, via Amazon Prime Video. One day, a good cloud based DVR will exist and then you'll see a mass exodus of "chord-cutters"I like Dish. Been with them since 1999. I did just that. I now get HBO via the Fire Stick live and on the Roku on Demand. Works great too.
I don't see HBO ever returning to Dish.
No inside knowledge here, but wouldn't surprise me to see DISH doing this to help the DOJ get the merger of AT&T and Time Warner reversed.Just read a couple of articles on the Dish HBO standoff and the conclusion is that they haven't been talking to each other for months. All they're doing is issuing statements blaming each other. I don't see HBO ever returning to Dish.
If True--> I don't see LQQK ever returning to Dish.
I'm not even sure what channel getting dropped would make me change these days, with so much being available via streaming. It would be different if I didn't have good broadband for sure, so I understand people without broadband access switching because of it.
I'd say it is a better than 50% chance HBO comes back when the DOJ suit against AT&T is over, one way or another.
It may be a very long time before this Suit is resolved.I'm not even sure what channel getting dropped would make me change these days, with so much being available via streaming. Personally I think it should be.
Charlie should be taking about how many customers have jumped ship and went to cord cutting to save money to be honest with you.
