Do you have 2 H3's?

If so is one owned and the other leased?

My understanding of the situation is that they count the owned one as the #1 receiver for which you pay the $15 DVR fee and the other receiver is the one that you pay the lease fee on.

If both of your Hopper 3's are owned that blows my whole theory.

I could be totally off base but that is what I have read between the lines.

Didn't see this thread but was curious - they gotta stop raising prices at some point. At some point people just can't absorb it and thanks to you know who inflation has either made you lose your 7% wage increase or you are now 7% in the hole for everything. Dish is doing the wrong things here raising costs on this scale in the middle of all that is happening. Maybe 1 or $2 would be ok but 5??? Really??

I hope everyone can get good internet soon so you can move to streaming if you wish.
The streaming services have also all jacked their prices up cause they know people will move to them or think about it. I'm beefing up my streaming ability from other sources at this point...tired of it and when my price lock ends I think I'll finally be done with dish.

From another poster on another Dish thread!

Yeah, sure, what with their net going up not down every year. For instance Dish's net income increased 25.95% from 2019 to 2020 but that's nothing. From 2020 thru Sept 30 2021 Dish's net went up, you ready for this, 82.53%! Why at that rate they'll be belly up in 50 years (maybe, maybe not)!

I am starting to lean toward cancelling Dish and streaming. Especially with Tegna stations being out. I am fortunate that I have an OTA antenna to receive the Tegna stations. My biggest hang up with streaming is I record 99.9% of my shows. Until I can do this via streaming I will hang with Dish.

Most streaming is on demand..Why do you need a dvr?
