DPP44 switch with Two dishs?

My current setup has a Dish 500 pointing at 61.5 connected to a port on a 1000.2. Then from there to the various receivers around the house.
I recently received a DPP44 and added it between the 3 satellite feeds and the receivers. I now have lost the 61.5 position.

Is this expected? If not, what might be wrong? If normal, is there a way around it?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You will probably have to connect the 61.5 to the DPP44. That is the way I have my wing dish.

When an external switch is connected, the internal switch on the LNB is disabled. You'll need to connect the 61.5 directly to the DPP44

Yes you may depending on the area. hd locals come off 61.5 in some areas

isn't that what the EA dishes are for? LOL.....I guess if the op has a mix of sd and hd receivers there would be a need.....
