I'm using a 1TB WD Elements that was previously attached to my 622. Shop around. I bought it at Target a couple of years ago for $69.00. Newegg.com is a good source.

I have a 2TB WD My Book Essential. I haven't had any problems yet.

My definition of YET= your eligible too!

I have 2 Hoppers along with a External Hard Drive SATA Enclosure Docking Station 2.5” & 3.5” USB 2.0 & eSATA attached to each Hopper. All I do is move only the 2T drive between them. Takes about 2 seconds and the drive is installed with no hassle pulling and replacing cables. CAUTION: I have no children around or visit normally, a 2 year old is able to remove drive, and animals might pull on the cables.
