ESPNU HD

when the contract ends, i would bet we lose ESPN for an extended period of time.

Somehow I have faith that won't happen.Charlie and Joe know that if they lose ESPN they will also lose a ton of subs.

i hope that the suit will finally gets settled so we can get this channel in HD along with ABCFamilyHD,ESPNNEWS,DisneyHD,DisneyXDHD.

hate to say it but play Aerosmith's 1st album track 3 ;)

hmm I'm gonna take a few guesses at that...

Toys in the Attic?
Back in the Saddle Again?
Walk this Way?
Dude looks like a Lady oh thats way to recent

jk couldn't resist:D

Well another year has passed and STILL no ESPNU in HD! My Vols kick off their season this Friday night and my worst fear has come true. IT'S ON ESPNU!! My gosh what year is this? Get with the rest of the country dish and get this channel in HD.

I talked to both friends at DISH and ESPN (I live down the street from ESPN) and am told that talks are worse now then they ever have been.

translaton, anything Disney own gets dropped, Dish loses everyone, and Dish swallows the poison pill and goes out of business and is bought out by Google or Apple to boost up their world domination plans.

or Dish settles with Disney in the worse way possible, and that's get bought out by Disney.

Don't forget this about Disney wanting to be paid twice for the same feed. Once for the SD and once for the HD. If Dish caves on this we will all see our bills double.

Every other provider has ESPN U hd and their prices aren't double what I'm paying now, matter of fact since I have 4 receivers the price is basically the same.

Amazing that Dish Network is the ONLY MAJOR PROVIDER with this problem. I still feel that Charlie's overused legal team dropped the ball big time on this.

I would think Dish would simply just drop the SD feed and pay for only the HD feed & down convert if need be to cover their SD customers.

Dish and Disney have been going after each other in court for a couple of years now. Disney is only trying this on Dish, if successful, then it's a pretty safe bet they will ask for the same thing from the other providers. Do a search on this, it has been well documented for a couple of years now. Probably nothing will happen on this or the other missing Disney/ESPN/ABC channels until the Disney and ESPN contracts come up for renewal and they are actually forced to talk to each other.

If true, why would Disney choose Dish as its "test"? Doesn't make $en$e...........why not choose a smaller provider for the test

What, still no ESPNU HD? Can't we do some head banging a la the Three Stooges until these clowns work something out?
