Free ISO. Image Burner???

Our paper highlighted a local company that produces a USB device to make a MicroSD card containing .iso files look like a DVD or CD drive. Instead of burning ISOs to optical media, you simply copy the ISO file to the microSD card and place it in the IsoStick. Granted, you need to buy the IsoStick for $99 and a microSD card (if you don't have a big one laying around) but the advantage is it will never get scratched! The IsoStick will hold and present as many ISO files as will fit on your microSD card.

I have no idea if this would work for DVD movies, by the way.

There was a program that I used that allowed me to run Linux off of a USB stick and it worked for that particular program.
