Gas Price Info With National Gas Temperature Map

Here in my town it is $2.13 and we are the cheapest by far. Just a very few miles away they are at $2.49.

Diesel is the same, here in town it is $2.14 in surrounding areas $2.45 and up.

Don't you love it when a refinery unexpectedly shuts down? A BP refinery had to shut down in Indiana and now gas prices are spiking up in Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan. I filled up yesterday at $2.46. Right now that same station is at $2.76 with other stations already up to $2.99. A 50 cent price jump overnight.

Yesterday morning as I was on the way to the golf course gas was $2.08. Coming back about 2 1/2 hours later it was $2.29. A couple hours later it went up to $2.49. This morning it was @$2.48 and now it is at $2.79. A $0.71 increase in a 24 hour period, ridiculous!! :(
I'm in deep southern Illinois.

Saw it for 2.03 at a Flying J in Birmingham today, cheapest I have saw in a long time. Still ranges from 2.25-2.03 (now) on a 70 mile stretch of I-22.

Refinery issue causes jump in Midwest gas prices
lame excuse. So there is NO OTHER gas in the US that they cant get it from?

was 2.39 last Tuesday...jumped to 2.79 Wednesday in Aitkin. In the cities it was even cheaper before the jump.
Every time the news says "oh gas prices are going down. We may see 2.00 by Labor Day" then it jumps. Ironic...dont ya think?
