What kind of dish and reciever do you need for recieving channels on c-band and KU band and do you get access to these channels free. I heard that a channel called JC-TV is broadcast unscrambled on Telstar 5 on the KU band and would like to recieve this channel scence it is not on cable or directv and can't watch it in there live video feed on a dialup connection. Thanks for the help

Well not sure bout that feed, but if its Ku-band then a 90cm dish shall serve you right, though a fullview system is unmatched in channel delivery and quality, you will need the room time and money to get a 10'-12' dish, if you can do it all yourself and find used stuff like many of us here, then it will not cost as much, but if you buy new and get a pro install then it can be costly.

welcome :wave

JCTV is a great channel. If you are just looking for that, you can get a simple system for 140 bucks or so. Reckon, this system is a little limited. But if all you want is JCTV, no reason to spend 500 bucks on a system :)

All you need is a receiver, 30" dish and KU LNB. Check out one of our sponsers, Sadoun for pricing on equipment :)
