Hello. Just bought a used Globecast system with the aforementioned dish. It was already setup for T5 and I'm able to get those channels no problem. But now I want to try a different satellite. I set up the azimuth and elevation per lyngsat and other websites correctly and sweep the dish back and forth slowly but get nothing. I found the instructions to use the globecast receiver (the ones at "globecastworldtv" are too new. Had to do much surfing to find it) and have it set up correctly I believe. It does have on the satellite screen the words "New Sat" and I was able to put in a new sat using T5 frequencies and symbol rates and see those transponders. The question is, with an elliptical dish do you need to change the skew of the dish for each satellite? The skew is set to 116 for T5. I would think this is my problem, and if so, how do I figure out the skew for other satellites? Can an elliptical dish be used with a motor if I wanted to use one?
Thanks,
Joe
