Any word on getting these in our locals?

I wouldn't plan on it anytime soon. From discussions I read it seem E* is only concentrating on the big 4 (ABC, CBS, NBC, & FOX). As E* has not even finished local HD rollout across the country (and I believe they are behind their original schedule). I don't think there is a chance in hell of seeing these for a long long time.

As for PBS HD, the reason you don't have it on either E* or D* is that the PBS station group is trying to force both DBS providers to carry ALL of the individual station sub channels in each market served by HD locals. In my case in Tulsa, OK, that would mean the main channel (which isn't even in HD most of the time), a SD subchannel devoted entirely to programming about Oklahoma (OK, that would be nice to see), PBS Kids Sprout (which is carried in D* already, at least) and the Charlie Rose Channel... er, PBSYou. That is not worth the price of admission for me.
