"So Adam Scott blows away the field with a stunning display of golf to win the WGC Bridgestone Sunday, but his flawless performance was relegated to a back story due to the show put on by his caddie, Steve Williams.
Williams, the veteran caddie who was unceremoniously dumped by longtime boss Tiger Woods last month, proved through his actions and statements that maybe he and Tiger really were a perfect pair: a perfect pair of jerks!
Tiger reportedly fired Williams, a New Zealander who was on his bag for 72 Tiger victories, including 13 major titles, after Williams looped for Scott (an Aussie) a few times while Tiger recouped from injury. Tiger said he fired him, as is his right, in person, but Williams now contends Tiger fired him over the phone.
So what? Tiger’s the boss, and he can fire Williams any way he wants. So that is that, right?"

LOL!!! From the same article:
Steve, a memo: you’re the caddie, not the player. YOU didn’t win by four shots, YOU didn’t chip in on the 12th hole, and YOU didn’t make a 30-footer to ice it on the 14th. In fact, YOU just carried the bag and handed over the club you were told to hand over.
So stay in the background, stop mugging for the cameras, and if you’re angry with Tiger, just keep it to yourself. Adam Scott has a career to expand on, and no one really cares what you have to say or how you feel.
The main point is not that Williams sounded off; that, of course, is his right as well. But write your tell-all book, or give interviews to golf studio shows, or wait until Monday — but don’t pop off while your new boss has not even signed his scorecard yet.
