2 HDTV'S in my house. I'm looking to replace my son's 311 receiver with a 211 and upgrade hime to HD so I can switch to the HD only pack. It'll pay for the tv and receiver.

I'm trying to keep up with the Jones's. Plus all the SD stuff. So I think the other poster may want to go hang out at BB on a Friday night or Saturday and watch how many HD TV sets roll out the front door.

Re-phrase.... I jumped threads. Someone was making a big hoopla about HD should be the least worries right now for E* and I jumped here to take the poll. So ignore the BB comment. Thanks

How do you figure? For example, For only $4.96 each when QTY 50+ purchased - DVI-I Male to 3 RCA component Adapter w/ DIP Switch for ATI Video Cards (Gold Plated) | DVI <--> 3RCA Component
They'll have HDMI to component adapters soon. Only problem is they really won't be legal since making such an adapter would bypass the DMC--DCMA---useless-copy-protection-crap.

DVI-I contains an analog and digital signal, that adapter probably signals the card to output Y-Pr-Pb instead of RGB.

DVI-D and HDMI do not support analog signals.

FYI - I have two, but I would have three if DISH offered a Single Tuner HD-PVR (and I would be getting two of those things).

I have two. The first is a Polaroid 27" in the bedroom, connected to my old 508 at the moment, so no HD content on that one. The second one, in the living room, is a Sony KDL-52XBR4 that I just got last week. The wife and I were at BB looking at TVs, and came across a display where they had two LCD sets next to each other playing the same movie. One had a 60hz refresh rate, and the other had 120hz with the motion enhancer effect turned on. My wife told me we needed to buy one, right there on the spot. Who am I to say no to her? :D Definately the biggest impulse purchase I have ever made! Even got a Blu-Ray player to go with it.
