I just switched over from VOOM to Comcast HD w/DVR box. Anyone figured out how to dim the display on the Motorola receiver? Short of buying some window tint film and pasting it over the clock/channel display would be of interest as it is too bright in a dark room.
BTW, am pleased with Comcast but seriously short of HD content compared to VOOM. I was able to use the DVI connection with this MOTO box which never worked on the VOOM box. Also, I now have the DVR which was promised by VOOM for months.
If Comcast, Dish and DirectTV pickup the Voom programming at some point, it will actually be better in the long run for my setup anyway. Everytime the wind blew my OTA channels went out and during a hard rain heavy cloud cover, the VOOM dish feed would be lost. With cable, these aren't an issue.
