I have a weird issue with the Scientific Atlanta 3250 HD box Comcast gave me and I'm hoping that someone can confirm that this doesn't happen with the Hughes HD box for Directv.

I use the DVI connection and also the Svideo to my Tivo. When I turn the TV off, apparently the SA box senses that and puts an error on all outputs saying my TV doesn't support DVI. This of course means I can't turn my TV all the way off and record things on the Tivo because all I get is the error message. Does anyone know (or can check) if this is the case on the Hughes HD box?

Thanks in advance. This is a great forum for geeks like me who have to know as much as possible in advance.

I use the HTL HD with DVI on a mitsubishi and I do not have this problem. Once the TV is off additional outputs on the HTL HD remain active (if the HTL HD is turned on of course).
