HWS program guide

I thought that the HWS slings guide will show 9 days of programming but all I can get is 3 or 4 days on the guide. Tried to reboot several times still 3 or 4 days in guide. I like to set timers sometimes for has much has a week a head of time like I did on my original hopper. Any ideas how to get full guide listings?

How long have you had the HWS. If just installed, it takes a few days for the guide to work properly.

And which satellites do you receive? Different sats give the short vs the long guide.

This receiver is a replacement for my old hopper and I installed it several weeks ago.

Western arc with a .2 dish.

I just tried the guide again and it went from 5 pm today to 5:30 pm Friday (12/13).

I'm on earc. Had 1 of my HWS's do the same. Itried the same thing u did. Waited one day and it was back to normal.

This has been going on for two weeks now. If I could go to the Eastern Arc I would try that but not possible.

The Hopper/Hopper with Sling will have an extended program guide which is 7-9 days. For new activation, it typically takes around 45 minutes to download. It should never take 24 hours.
