I was just at CIRCUIT CITY 2 days ago and they had a big stack of Zenith brand D to A Converter boxes.

In the mean time my mother-in-law and neighbor in the nursing home on wellfare who can't afford the $50/mo. cable their offering can't get coupons because of some policy about the residence in general. I appealed but heard nothing.

Perhaps you could share a coupon. Although in a nursing home the TV is usually owned by the home and signal may be cable. But if this is somehow her TV I think at a family member should help. BTW others not applying for their coupon as would do nothing to rectify the situation but perhapsa friend would give you or sell you theirs at a reduced price.
