I have an XM PCR

I bought Timetrax, and am running 3.1 of it.

Can I just install Recast and it will work with my std timetrax license?

Or do I need to buy Recast?

Thanks!

Yes, you are able to upgrade to Recast. Your old TimeTrax registration key should work as your Recast activation key. Registration keys are tied to your radio ID and are permanent. If you ever reinstall or move your set-up, you need the REGISTRATION KEY. An activation key is a one time code to use for you to let the system know that you are a paying customer and it should therefore generate your permanent, registration key.
Once you use your activation code, the permanent registration key will be displayed on the screen as well as e-mailed to you.
I hope this was more helpful than confusing. We are working on changing the format of the keys to make them more distinquishable and to rename them so they don't get confused for each other!
In the meantime, please try your registration key from olf versions of Time Trax and it will activate Recast for you. Any trouble - open up a support ticket and we will make sure you are set-up properly.
