Latest HD DVD Ordered or Bought

I just got Fletch, Smokey and the Bandit, Timecop, The Getaway, Serenity, and Bourne Ultimatum from inetvideo.com yesterday.

Been buying imports now that the prices have dropped (as well as some pr0n)...

La Vie En Rose
Hotel Babylon - Season One

Still on my want list
Brotherhood of the Wolf
La Haine
Triplets of Belleville
Torchwood
Robin Hood - The Series
Becoming Jane

Not too many domestics left that I truly want...

Grr... I screwed up and mentioned an interest in "Torchwood." Dude ordered it for me. $80 gone. Hell, I could use that for some speaker wire and a flat panel mount! :p

I've been tempted to pick up titles cheap but they're extremely hard to come by anymore--where are folks getting them online?

Speaking of: Anyone been to the Fry's in west Chicago area to buy HD-DVDs at their marked-down $9.99 a title? Wondered what kind of selection they had/whether it was worth the trek.

Yeah, thanks, saw that above in your previous post. Checked them out...and Amazon actually has a couple of titles that are decent deals (esp when you add Prime free 2-day shipping). I ended up getting 'Sleepy Hollow' and 'Appleseed' from Amazon (saw part of the latter on Comcast HD OnDemand and dug it), and I'm thinking of ordering 'Fletch' and a couple of others from inetvideo.

Still, wish everything was 10 bucks or less...you'd think we'd be hitting 'liquidation state' by now and ALL major retailers would be on board.

Can't speak for Chicago but Irving, TX is overflowing with them. We have a good bit in Austin, too. They've started the Universal sales this weekend. I saw Paramount stuff coming in. Yeah, I look forward to getting Beowulf and Zodiac for only $9.99.

I ordered 8 from inetvideo yesterday as well. Getting kind of hard to find stuff I want and don't already have, but these are wally world bin prices, so I'm willing to get some third tier choices.

Ordered Cat People, Dazed and Confused, Field of Dreams, Mallrats, Sea of Love, Bourne Ultimatum (still need supremecy), The Fast and the Furious and The Good Shepard.

saturday the mail brought me the mummy 1 & 2 and the big lebowski from inetvideo. about 10 days from order to me! mummy was good popcorn flick. mindless, but fun

15 titles arrived from iNetvideo yesterday, 1 week after the order was placed. The inevitable happened - I now have 2 copies of "The River". Hard to keep track of them all in my mind, need to start a list to make sure I don't do that again. (The disks are at home and I order from work.) About 80 titles now, and more than half still in plastic. Plenty of fine watching ahead of me, starting tonight...!

Anyone want to trade The River unopened for Mummy 1 (new or used)...?

I keep not buying stuff because I am afraid I MIGHT have already bought it. I really need to make a list and put it in my wallet.

Then there is stuff like The Sting. I haven't bought it because I bought the DVD delux not too long ago and since it is a soft focus movie, I'm not sure I would benefit. Anybody care to comment on this title?
