When a legacy LNB goes bad does it tend to fail completely i.e. no signal output at all or does it just give a low level?

Any thing is possible from complete to just one transponder. And Legacy dosen't fail any differently than a Dish Pro they just fail.

And as far as I remember Legacy equipment won't test as having LNB drift, it just goes until it quits.

Yeah, I had one side of a dual DP LNB go dead, while the other side was fine until my 1000.4 installer let it get away on my roof and it broke into pieces when hitting my sidewalk.
