Not to mention the blowing/falling leaves causing signal loss, and the possibility of branches falling on the dish.
The tree thing is a last resort.

After telling the customer there is no line of sight.............and they insist...........I do mention a temporary way to get a signal until they cut some trees.

The base of large trees does not move and growth does not cause the dish or limbs to move. The tree grows around the mast. Limbs fall on the dish and kids will climb on them. Lawn guys mow the cable or hit the dish with heads and shoulders. New owners and the next tech inherit a mess that may not me sustainable.

Houses burn down and customers move or die. Nothing is forever. The choice is do it wrong or don't do it at all. Completion rates are what they are.
