Does anyone know how many transponders can be at one location? Ku/Ka/DBS I thought each was seperate bands, and you have vertical, horizontal, circular left, circular right polorization.

From this I am speculation that Ku has 16 vert 16 horiz 16 left circular and 16 right circular? Is my thinking correct?

Can a Satellite then have KU and KA and DBS at the same time and have all the different polorizations for a Max TP of 192?

Circular & Linear have different polarities but they are the same
Vertical is the same as right and Horizontal is the same as left.

KU or DBS?

KU band is 32 tranponders that can be H or V polarity. within that 32 they can be split to more than that
DBS is 32 TP's per satellite spot

Can you have more than one type at a spot? heck yeah

as an example 99W has C-Band, KU Band and KA band
129 has C, KU & DBS
