MGS4 should sell more than enough to turn a profit. It's a strong franchise and this is supposed to be the final chapter. Also, I would imagine that Sony is subsidizing costs to an extent. Sony has too much riding on MGS4 for them to risk anything going wrong with it. If nothing else, I'm sure Sony will cover most of the promotional costs for the game.
 
Metal Gear Solid 4, I love this game, that is all I am going to say, pre-ordered already.
