I guess I am not surprised; what incentive do they have to keep making them? But I have one already, so I am happy - and it works with a PC. :)

I see Best Buy has them for $49 now. Very tempted to pick one up for my PC. I've been able to successfully take a HD DVD rip and convert it to Blu-Ray. If I pickup this drive, I could do that with all my HD DVDs, and would truely be purple. :)

Plus, I think you still get the 5 free movies. Bonus.

I just ordered me one. At $50 it was too hard to turn down especially since it can be hooked to my PC and be used to rip my HD DVD movies....
