Okay I notice there are like 3 HBO HD channels one in the 70's and otheres up in the 300's-500's I think. Anyway is there a certain range thats all Mpeg4 and the others older Mpeg2 or does it matter? I'd like to weed out any Mpeg2 HD channels that are avail as both in my fav's list.
Thx in advance for any help

The hd channels in the 70's are all mpeg2, as are the ones that are mirrors of those channels.

Is there a place I can find a list of which movie channels are mpeg4?

I don't know of a list, but HBO East and Showtime East HD channels are MPEG2, the other HD movie channels are MPEG4. On the PPV's ch 99 is MPEG2, the other HD PPV"s in the 100's are MPEG4.

MPEG2 channels

HBO East HD - 70/501/509
Showtime East HD - 71/537/543
ESPN2 HD - 72/209
ESPN HD - 73/206
Universal HD - 74/259
TNT HD - 75/245
HD Theater - 76/281
HD Net Movies - 78
HD Net - 79
Special Events HD - 95
HD PPV - 99

Everything else is MPEG4
