Multiswitch question

Howdy all,

I have a 3 LNB dish that feeds a Tivo box (both inputs) and DirecTV's DVR (only one input).

I want to add another room (a regular receiver) to the mix and add a second line into the DirecTV DVR.

Which multiswitch will support this setup? Should I replace the dish head as well?

I believe you will need a Zinwell (or other DirecTV authorized) 6x8 multi-switch. If you have any plans on getting HD installed, you might call customer service to see what deals they could offer you.

actually coming off of a 3 lnb dish you would need a powered 4x8 multi switch

zinwell 6x8 is only for high def

But it can be used on an SD system.

The Zinwell 6x8 Wide Band can work with the Standard definition, and with Hi Def too.
The Zinwell 6x8 regular work only with Standard definition.
