Hi. I live in an association where there is a limited place where a dish can be installed.
The place where I can put the dish is on a pool on the ground next to my door, but there is a problem. The surrounding trees are blocking the signal but not on all of the satellites, only on 119.
When they install the dish last winter there was no leaves on the trees and the signals were:
101 – 85 %
110 – 85 %
119 – 45 %
But in spring when the leaves came back I lost the signal on 119.
When I call the company for realignment they send a kid that had no tools and had no idea what he was doing, and finally he could not do the job.
So I want to do the research if I can find the best place for the dish.
The signal strenght that I am receiving from all of the satellites is:
99(b) - 80%
101- 93%
103(a) – 84%
103(b) – 78%
110 – 97%
119 – 0%
Can somebody tell me how can I locate the exact position of the satellites on the sky, for example satellite 119, so I can find the best place for the dish? I think there was some kind a calculation using the position of the sun or the moon. If somebody know please help.
