NFL Ticket Stand alone and AM21

Does anyone know what services are required for the AM21 to work on a Genie?

I am a stand alone NFL Ticket customer and the AM21 was working until they changed something on my account and now I get a "750" error.

Any help would be appreciated.

I had the same problem, but it affected some sat content, too. The 750 message has something to do with a lack of DirecTV 'Service'. I called DirecTV and during my conversation with the CSR the problem disappeared. I suspect she 'hit' the DVR with some kind of authorization.

I know but I am wondering if there is what service needs to be selected so that the DVR can be authorized with it. Does activating the AM21 require a a certain package? The customer service reps told me your receiver just simply needs to be active. It is.

The AM21 requires the dvr to be active. Perhaps the stand alone ST (I didn't know you could still get it. You must have had it a long time) isn't categorized the same way a normal subscription is.

You can't get it anymore. Grandfathered only, so yeah, he's had it awhile

I have had it since 2000. So the DVR is active, the ticket works I pay a monthly fee for the DVR and I can record with it. It worked before they changed something last Saturday so it has to be something on their end just don't know what it is.

Maybe it's Directv's way of getting rid of those with stand alone ST.

I have gotten the 750 error with my AM21, even though I have a qualifying programming package. I believe the problem ended up being the cabling and/or the multiswitch that interfered the receiver being authorized. You can go directv.com and reauthorize the receiver and check the cabling between your receiver and the dish to make sure there are no problems...

So the Apps don't work either so it has to be something with they have my DVR setup in their system

As far as models, many times they were produced along side each other, the "700" only means which company made it. Out of curiosity why not just get an HR24?

Here is the thing, I am a stand alone NFL ticket customer and this year when I called in to get the NFL ticket working because its a hassle every year they offered me a Geni.

The Geni won't work with an AM21 unless you have a base package. The HR* models work with the AM21 if the receiver is activated.

So if you guys could help me out if the latest HR model works with the AM21 I will get an HR24.
