I have a Turbo-Dish on the roof looking at the eastern arc (65, 72, 77) hooked up to a VIP211K receiver. The only problem I have is when it snows I’m too old to get to the roof to clean off the dish. As a back-up I want to set-up a two LBN Dish (I got for free) on the ground. (Which I can easily remove snow from.) I can pretty much get the same channels looking at the western arc (110, 119). Question is, what kind of switch do I need to merge the two LBN lines into one? Can anyone help this Old-Timer out?

what would be good for you would be a DishPro 34 switch (because its the cheapest). only problem is you will have to swap line from the switch as there is no switch that can handle those five LNB's. So you should run your eastern and western arc lines to the switch so you can easily swap them. Everytime you swap them you will just have to do a check switch and it will work. You wont get all your HD channels with just 110 and 119. You will also need 129 if that matters to you.

Bluefield/Beckley/Oak hill locals on Dish.

Switch recordings on Vip 612
