Has anyone tried plugging the EHD to Joey for playback?

Would it work without active connection to the 'mother Hopper'?

If so, the Joey can be a portable media player while travelling!

You can connect a wireless adapter to it, but that's not really needed with bridging on the Hopper. I imagine anything else will be for future use.
