Recording on Hoppers

I have 3 hoppers and 2 joeys. I know I can watch any of my recordings from hopper to hopper. But if I am at the hopper in my livingroom can I set something to be recorded on the hopper in theater room or do I have set the recordings on the hopper in the theater room. The reason for this question is my wife has set up her recordings on my living room hopper and she uses up all 3 tuners at the same time.

I think we know the solution to your problem.

I don't think you can do it from Hopper to Hopper but I may not be up to date on that.

With the firmware versions S515 and up, if you are setting a recording on say Hopper A, and all three tuners are in use, it will ask if you want to record on an inactive tuner on Hopper B. I use the Dish app to schedule all of my timers on my Hoppers.
