Remote Codes

Does anyone have a updated list of television remote codes? I have an Element Flat screen and can't get the Dish remote to run the TV. I've tried the power search with no results

What receiver do you have?

Go to dishnetwork.com and download the manual for it.

Well then it probably won't work because the codes are static in the remote. There is no way to update them.

Try to do the autoscan that is in the manual. If that doesn't work, get a new remote.

Q: I’m trying to set up my cable/satellite/universal remote to work with your television. What is the manufacturer’s code for your unit?
A: Please try the code 0178 or for Dish Network try 627 or 659. These codes may not work on some universal remotes. If there is another code listed for Element Electronics in your universal remote control guide, feel free to try that code. Refer to the Remote Control Guide under your TV’s model number for more information

Coincidentally I had a note with the same codes in the box with my new Polaroid LCD and 627 worked fine with my 6.2 remote.

Tried 627 and 659 with no results
