I'm tired of waiting on DISH. I'm calling the retention people and if they can't seriously sweeten the pot, I've gotta do DirecTV. So frustrating.

This spring?? Man, I think I'm depressed again..
Spring is officially anywhere from March 20 - June 20....that sucks. Come on already! Light up those HD channels (and more) before a bunch more of us bail and head to D*.
I just don't understand what the f-ing problem is at E*.
They also seemed to justify the price increases based on the HD they added last year. They did used to be the undisputed price leader. I don't think they really deserve that crown any longer. I don't know why they come up with lame excuses. I also don't know why the marketing department comes up with the lame names and marketing programs and ads either.

BET Jazz. Sounds like the only BET I'd be interested in. Doubt it's HD, though.
Talk about a niche channel! This would fit well in our niche channel argument over in the loss of Smithsonian HD thread!
Talk about new national HD added this week, Crime and Investigation HD, Fox Business News (HD) and Fox News HD. Plus they announce that coming this spring the following new national HD channels… BET, BETJ, Comedy Central, CMT, MTV, Nickelodeon, Spike TV and VH-1.
Does this mean NO new HD this week or just that the above listed channels won't come until spring? Is there a chance some of the other rumored HD channels will come today/this month?

The J is for Jazz. It used to have the awkward name "BET On Jazz", then the sensible "BET Jazz". Now they are back to awkward again.
This would actually be cool, though this is the first I've heard of an HD version, considering they haven't even gotten BET off the ground.
Spring=Soon for Dish. Scott, looks like another drought, instead of a storm. Haven't we had enough droughts. What the Hell is Dish doing. They raise their HD prices by $20 and add two channels. This sucks!
I am on TurboHD Gold and am getting FoxNews HD and Fox Business HD.

Disappointing for 2 reasons.....
Direct just launched these last week (all 4 networks). Now I get a timeframe from Dish that hard to believe sounds worse than "SOON"....."AFTER"
"Spring" is the best they could do to raise our hopes for new HD? I am no where near Spring in Northern Wisconsin
Which is complete BS. They started the TurboHD packages, which were the same as the old HD Only package, but more expensive. Now they are raising them again again.
Did they add ANYTHING to the Turbo HD packages between inception and last weekend? I'm sure there was one or two, but I can't think of them. They've basically raised prices TWICE without adding much of anything. (OK, they actually added a lot before the first increase.)
I just feel like a wife in the rural south who won't leave her wife-beater husband, because the only other man in town beats me even more. Until I get out of this town, I'll stay with Charlie and tell everyone I ran into a door.
(I can't wait to tell him I'm moving to another state and having an affair with FIOS!)
I wish I could kill my optimistic nature, but... they listed 8 channels with room for over 20 available, plus dish still hasn't issued a press release or programming alert for Fox News and Business HD being added... I Have a hard time believing all is done for February (or even for this week).
