We had tried a diplexer install, got SOME locals (about 8) with 56-78 signal strength.
So, reinstalled, no diplexer (and no powered sensar). Got about 12 channels OTA 70-85.
Bought the winegard PS that is supposed to come with the sensar ($5 on EBAY!).
Now I get 20 OTA channels with signal strengths of 88-99!! I am only missing 2, that according to antennaweb, are in the same direction as the ones I am getting.
It seems the stb does not like 2 adjacent uhf channels during scan. Sometimes missing the second, sometimes REBOOTING the stb during the scan on the second. This is when 2 both have signals, like 30 and 31
