Stuttering

Hey guy, not to butt in or anything, but just so you know this is also happening on my E* receivers. I have the VIP622 and VIP612. My D* install is supposed to happen this afternoon, but this same audio drop and even video freeze/skip is happening on the E* side as well.

Space aliens?

Anyways, after I get D* hooked up I'll see if it's happening on my new equipment.
 
Same here on my HR-24. It's been doing it since I came back to DirecTV about 9 months ago. Sometimes it does it 4-5 times an hour. And sometimes it will not happen for a few hours.

I've been told a quick fix is to turn off Dolby digital in the HR-24. To me that defeats the purpose. What's the point of having HD with only stereo sound. No thank you.
